Frozen Food to sell 50% of life insurance investment
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Frozen Food Express Industries Inc. said Monday that it plans to sell a 50% interest in one of its life insurance investments to a life settlement investor for $6.1 million. As a result of the sale, the Dallas-based company said it will record an after-tax gain of about $3.8 million during the second quarter.
